Salvia uliginosa
Bog Sage
Beautiful blue blooms on tall wispy stems June-frost.
Great for mixing with other perennials and grasses. Attracts butterflies
and hummingbirds but even more fun to watch are the finches. Finches will
land on the stems and walk down the weighted stem to eat seeds from the
flower heads. Comes back late in the spring and will occasionally self seed. Can be fast growing in rich soils. Full sun. Height and spread 3-4'.
