Lilium formosanum
Formosa Lily
This lovely lily blooms freely in late summer. Plants bloom the first year from seed and therefore are an excellent candidate for naturalizing.
Formosa lily takes up very little space so tuck them in with your grasses or plant them with spring blooming perennials to extend the bloom season of your garden.
Attractive seed heads form after flowering so leave them on for the full show.
Full-part sun. Good drainage. Height 2-4'. Native to Taiwan (Formosa Island).
