Foeniculum vulgare 'Purpureum'
Bronze Fennel
Love this plant for its texture. Bronzy purple
foliage is wispy and soft. Golden yellow umbels in summer make a good cut
and dried flower. Seeding can be a problem if not deadheaded in fall. Try
the dried seadheads spray painted for
interesting holiday decorations. Height 3-4'. Spread 2-3'. Can be easily
squeezed in between grasses and such.
