Tarragon, French
An aromatic perennial herb with a mint-anise
flavor. This herb is used mostly in French cooking but has many other
culinary possibilities as well. Use to make tarragon vinegars, for
Béarnaise, tartar, and hollandaise sauces. Add to fish, chicken and egg
dishes. Make an herb butter for steaks, chops vegetables and grilled
fish. Full sun/part shade. Height 2-3'.
